What is Camp Photography?
Camp Photography is an all-inclusive 3 Night retreat for Photographers who want to learn, shoot, and connect. It's a mix of styled photoshoots, practical classes led by industry leaders and fun community building activities.
Hey I’m Mike.
I’ve been lucky enough to call myself a Wedding Photographer for the past six years. I genuinely wouldn’t be where I am today without the incredible community around me, but I also know how hard it can be to find like minded people in this industry. Photography can feel isolating, especially when you’re trying to grow and put yourself out there.
That’s why I created Camp Photography. It’s about bringing creative people together for a few nights, slowing things down, sharing ideas, and making friends & memories that last well beyond the camp.

Where is camp
CAMP PHOTOGRAPHY 2026 is happening at Maya Sanctuary in the Blue Mountains of NSW. Just 2 hours from Sydney, Maya Sanctuary is a secluded 200 acre bushland retreat tucked into the Kanimbla Valley.
Maya Sanctuary is blessed with many scenic hiking trails throughout the property, a natural swimming hole and endless quiet corners to sit, reflect and create. With little to service on site it will be a rare chance to properly switch off and be present.
Please note that accommodation at Maya Sanctuary is shared bedrooms. Campers will be sharing rooms with other attendees of the same gender.
CAMP BUS
Mike will be driving a bus to Camp, picking up campers at Sydney Airport. This is optional and you are free to drive yourself to Camp.
Sunrise HIKE
One activity we look forward to at every camp is the Sunrise Hike. It’s easier than it sounds and everyone says it’s the best way to start camp!
Camp #1 - Grampians NP
Camp #2 - Kanangra-Boyd NP
