Hey, I’m Mike
I’m a Photographer with a not-so-secret obsession: PHOTO EDITING.
The more I learn about editing, the more addicted I become. I genuinely believe editing makes up 50% of photography. Just like shooting on film and developing in a darkroom, one is incomplete without the other.
Over the years, I’ve studied and practiced countless techniques to create polished, intentional edits that elevate my work. In this live course cohort, we’ll get into the WHY behind each tool and technique, and I’ll show you exactly how to use them. If you’re ready to take control of your editing and create images that really reflect your vision, this course is for you.
When I first started my Photography Business I really struggled with;
a consistent style
My galleries looked completely different from one another, and my clients had no idea what to expect. Without a defined signature look, I felt lost and so did my business. Once I nailed down my editing style, I started attracting the right clients who truly valued my work.
Natural Tones
No matter what I did, my colours always looked too warm or too cool. My edits felt off, and I worried my clients noticed too. Once I learned how to nail natural tones, my images looked clean, polished and my client referrals increased.

Inside the course community you will have the ability to submit images to Mike and receive personalised feedback. Every student gets a personalised video walking through editing tips and ways to improve!

Not at all. Whilst the class examples will use Lightroom Classic because that’s what Mike uses, the tools and skills are not specific to Lightroom. You can take this course if you use Capture One, Luminar Neo, Lightroom CC or Lightroom Classic.

The editing course is structured to be a good introduction for those just starting their editing journey, but we also dive into more advanced features for those looking to refine their skills.
